If you have kids or pets, these covers are lifesavers. The polyester fabric feels durable and truly repels liquid—I spilled coffee and it beaded up nicely. The elastic keeps them in place even after sitting. For $60, it's a cheap way to protect a sectional. However, the chocolate color is darker than pictured, and the material can feel a bit plasticky. They fit my L-shaped sofa well, but large might not cover oversized sectionals completely. Machine washing holds up fine.
