The olefin cushions are water-resistant and held up well in light rain. Assembly took me about two hours with a friend. The U-shape is comfortable for lounging, but the seat depth at 29.5 inches might be too deep for shorter people. The blue color is vibrant, though I worry about fading over time despite the UV resistance. For the price, it's a decent starter set.
